A finance operations platform that gives controllers one view of cash, approvals and month-end close across multiple entities.
Concept project — a self-initiated exploration by Webroaden with a fictional company. It is not a client engagement and shows no real-world results.
Interface concept, rendered in code. Names, figures and content are illustrative.
The challenge
Finance teams at growing companies often run month-end close from spreadsheets, email threads and several banking portals. The concept explores a multi-tenant product that consolidates that work without asking teams to abandon the tools they already trust.
Approach
The decisions that shape the product — each one chosen to solve a specific part of the problem.
Screens organized around the close checklist rather than around data tables, so the next action is always obvious.
Tenant, entity and role boundaries enforced at the database layer with row-level security.
Configurable approval chains with thresholds, delegation and a complete audit trail.
Idempotent sync jobs for banking and accounting APIs, with retry queues and visible sync health.
Intended outcomes
Design goals for this concept — not measured results from a live product.
A single, current view of cash across every entity
Approvals that are auditable by design
An architecture that supports new integrations without core changes
